DESERT WOMEN'S GOLF
ASSOCIATION

DWGA was formed in 2000 as a regional association specifically to serve the needs of the Desert clubs and their members. We began 2001, our first year of operation, with 10 clubs and more than 1,400 members.

DWGA is authorized by the USGA to issue Course and Slope Ratings as well as Handicap Indexes to its members. DWGA also performs other customary functions of a golf association including the sponsoring of golf tournaments, team play competition and other events for members.
