The Queen Mary Golf Classic at Virginia Country Club
The Queen Mary Golf Classic returns to Long Beach's acclaimed Virginia Country Club on April 27th.
The exclusive 104-year-old course will host the popular charity tournament for the second consecutive year. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House.

LPGA touring professsional, Danielle Kang, will be the featured speaker at a luncheon benefiting The First Tee of Pasadena's Girls Golf program. The event will be held on Wednesday, June 17 from 11a-2p
in the Mediterranean Room at Brookside Golf Club (1133 Rosemont Ave., Pasadena). The cost is $20 for students and $25 for adults, and attendance is limited to 200.

SCGA, WSCGA Create Women's Southern California Amateur Championship
The Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) and the Women's Southern California Golf Association
(WSCGA) have announced the creation of the Women's Southern California Amateur Championship,
which will be held July 27-28, 2015. This event will be jointly run by the two largest amateur golf
associations in Southern California. The inaugural championship will be contested at The Los Angeles

20th Annual California Women's Championship
The 20th annual California Women's Championship (CWC) will be held July 13-15, 2015 at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa Golf Course. The tournament is open to California residents who are female amateur golfers with a maximum July 1st index of 10.7 or below.

Volunteers Needed For Drive, Chip and Putt Qualifying
The USGA, in partnership with The Masters Tournament and the PGA of America, has announced the third year of the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship, a free Junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game and focusing on
the three fundemental golf skills. The Southern California PGA is scheduled to conduct 12 Local Qualifiers (June-September) to determine who will participate in the 2016 event and is seeking volunteers. For more information and a list of Qualifying sites, click
USGA Announces New Championship for Senior Women
The United States Golf Association announced the establishment of a new championship, the U.S. Senior Women's Open Championship, which will debut in 2018.
Eligibility for the event will be limited to professional and amateur female players age 50 and older. Field size and composition, playoff and other competitive format details will be announced by the USGA at a later date.
